Man charged with stealing school's eagle statue

DELHI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A Cincinnati man has been charged with taking a bronze eagle statue from a school's memorial.

On Aug. 31, police received a complaint from Delhi Middle School, stating the statue had been stolen from the Friendship Garden on school property.

The memorial was discovered the next day and will be reinstalled in the garden in the near future.

Police arrested Kenneth W. May, 49, on Wednesday and charged him with felony theft. He was cited and released from the police station and will have a court appearance on Monday.
