Fatal fire in Crosby Township

CROSBY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - One person has died in a house fire early Saturday morning.

A short time after 4:00am, Hamilton County sheriffs along with members from the Crosby, Harrison, and Miami Township fire departments responded to a house fire at the 6500 block of River Road.

After the fire was put out, fire crews entered the home. They found one person in the home deceased. Officials have not released the name of that victim.

So far, the cause of the fire is still under investigation by Fire Investigators and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigative Section.
