WARREN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - An arrest has been made in the death of a Russian immigrant who went missing from Roselawn and skeletal remains were found in Warren County in 2007.
The Warren County Prosecutor's office has confirmed that 40-year-old Ermek Abdildaev was arrested and charged with Gross Abuse of a Corpse and Tampering with Evidence. Abdildaev was arrested in Gurnee, Illinois.
The Hamilton Township Police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal identification and Investigation were involved in the arrest and will bring Abdildaev will be brought back to Warren County to face charges and possibly and indictment by a grand jury.
Authorities say that Abdildaev was involved in the death of Aleksandr Alferov. He lived in Roselawn but was reported missing in 2000. Alferov's skeletal remains were found in Hamilton Township in 2007.
