COLUMBUS, Ohio- No Ohio National Guard personnel were injured in the incident being reported Wednesday at Fort Hood, Texas.
Units from the Ohio National Guard sometimes process through Fort Hood, Texas to prepare Soldiers for mobilization and/or demobilization, but no Ohio National Guard units are currently stationed at Fort Hood.
There are currently 16 Ohio National Guard Soldier's stationed at Fort Hood. The National Guard's state headquarters has made contact with these Soldiers and confirmed that none of these Soldiers was at the site of the incident.
