SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Google Inc. is launching a new feature to let Californians see the results of climate change.
Google unveiled the new interactive tool in San Francisco on Wednesday as part of a climate change press conference by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The state is partnering with Google on the new venture.
Internet users can view interactive maps showing such things as the shrinking snow pack along the Sierra Nevada and how a rise insea level could submerge parts of San Francisco.
