BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -- A train car is tying up traffic in New Miami and St. Clair Township Wednesday afternoon.

A piece from the train fell off on the tracks in the area. The piece caused the train car to detach itself from the train and lodge itself in the track. The train car has not derailed.

Officials are trying to reattached the car to the train, but four crossings are now blocked. The crossings that are affected are from south to north on Augsburger Road just east of SR 127, South Street east of SR127, Trenton east on SR127 and SR127 just north of Trenton Road.

Authorities say they hope to clear the area in a couple of hours.

There are no reports of injuries.
