CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police are searching for two men they believe to be responsible for a bank robbery in Downtown Cincinnati that happened early Thursday afternoon.

Police responded to an alarm at the Key Bank on East 4th St at around noon Thursday. When they arrived, the men responsible for the robbery had already fled the scene.

The two men reportedly held up the bank by handing notes to the tellers that implied that the two had guns and would resort to violence if not handed money. The amount of money they took has not yet been determined.

The first suspect is described as being 5'6" to 5'7" tall, having a stocky build (200 pounds) with a scruffy beard, and wearing a black baseball cap with a "B" on the front, white collared short sleeved shirt with dark stripes and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as being 6'1" to 6'2" tall, skinny (150-170 pounds), and wearing a black baseball cap with a "cardinal" on the front, with wire rimmed glasses, a dark blue short sleeved "scrub" type shirt with a gray long sleeved shirt underneath, dark blue pants and black and white gym shoes.

Anyone with any information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (513) 352-3040.
