Robbers Arraigned

(Delhi, Oh.) - The couple police say robbed a Delhi Check Exchange was arraigned in court today.

21-year-old James Michael Lamb is being held under a 25 hundred dollar bond for robbery.  20-year-old Amber Silman is being held under a 35 thousand dollar bond for robbery and aggravated menacing.  Both Lamb and Silman will face the Grand Jury on July 21st.

According to police, Lamb and Silman held up a check cashing business in Delhi Township on Monday afternoon. After leaving the store, they came face to face with Delhi police officer Adam Cox in a busy parking lot near a Blockbuster video store.  Officer Adam Cox, an eight year veteran of the Delhi police force, fired at least three shots when Silman refused to surrender. One of the bullets hit Silman in the thigh.

Silman was treated and released from University Hospital.  Both Lamb and Silman are being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
