(CINCINNATI) -- A former employee of Time Warner cable has been charged with identity theft, after she was accused of obtaining the credit card number of a customer.

Vanessa Jackson, 55, faces two counts of theft and two counts of taking the identity of another.

According to court documents, Jackson took the victim's Discover credit card number and placed several orders online and over the telephone using this number and had merchandise sent to her own address. Police say Jackson took the victim's Time Warner payment over the phone and kept the credit card information used to pay the bill.

Police say Jackson has admitted to the offense. She will be arraigned on Tuesday.
