12 arrested after Norwood drug bust

NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - Twelve people have been arrested on various drug charges after a drug bust in Norwood.

The Norwood Drug Task Force and the narcotics enforcement section of the Norwood Police Division conducted a two-month undercover investigation into drugs sales, specifically in the West Norwood area.

A search warrant was executed in the 1800 block of Mills Avenue, where all three residents were arrested for trafficking in drugs, felony drug possession and permitting drug abuse.

A second search warrant was also executed in the 4300 block of Smith Road, where the occupant was arrested on four counts of trafficking in drugs and one count of permitting drug abuse.

A sweep was also conducted that led to eight additional arrests on various charges, including 25 counts of trafficking in drugs, two counts of drug possession and five counts of permitting drug abuse.
