Fountain City Classic brings weekend of fun to Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A week-long of activities pinnacles this weekend for the 21st Annual Fountain City Classic.

Starting Friday at 5:00 p.m., a vendor fair will open at the Convention and Trade Center with the theme, ‘Shop till you Drop.'

The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. in Phenix City and ends on Broadway in Columbus on Saturday.

Tailgating starts at 10:00 a.m. in the Columbus Civic Center parking lot on Saturday as well.
The game itself kicks off at 2:00 p.m. at A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium as the undefeated Albany State Rams battle the Fort Valley Wildcats.

In addition, the football classic has been selected at the  Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN) Game of the Week.

The game will be broadcast live on Sirius XM Satellite Radio Network, Channel 153, and XM Radio. Fans may also visit www.hsrn.com  to listen to the game.
