Cueto Expected to Start Opening Day

Goodyear, AZ (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Reds today released that pitcher Johnny Cueto is expected to start opening day.

Manager Dusty Baker first released the information to reporters Monday in Goodyear, Arizona.

Cueto is entering his fifth season with the Reds.  Last season, he finished with a 9-5 record, 2.31 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 156 innings pitched.

Jay Bruce, Ryan Ludwick and Paul Janish also reported to camp on Monday.  Position players are due in Goodyear February 23rd.

Opening day is Thursday April 5th against the Miami Marlins.
