ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -
An Anderson Township trustee has been arrested for public indecency after a woman claimed he exposed himself while sitting in her car.
Kevin O'Brien, 55, is charged with three counts of public indecency.
O'Brien's attorney filed a written plea of not guilty during his arraignment on Tuesday morning.
The charges stem from an incident on May 13. The victim claims she was giving O'Brien a ride home after they had both been hanging out at the home of O'Brien's neighbors. The woman claims O'Brien told her to dim the lights on her car, and then he exposed himself. The woman says she told him repeatedly to get out of her car.
A complaint was filed on June 8. The incident was investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department and O'Brien was arrested Monday morning and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center. He has been released on bond.
According to O'Brien's online bio on Anderson Township's website, he is the newest trustee, taking office in January of 2010, and has lived in Anderson Township for 40 years.
He took office with some controversy after he had been banned from the securities industry, amid allegations of mishandling a lot of money. Several residents called for his resignation, but he refused to step down.
