NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) -
Police are searching for the man responsible for an overnight robbery.
Authorities say just before 2:00 a.m. on Thursday a man walked into the Quality Hotel and Suites at 4747 Montgomery Road and demanded cash from the hotel desk clerk. The suspect did brandish a gun and also jumped over the counter during the incident.
Investigators are not giving any more specifics at this hour about what was stolen but have said there is surveillance video from the crime. We hope to have that video and more information later this morning.
No one was hurt during the robbery. Authorities have described the suspect as 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt.
Police say the same suspect stole a laptop and money on Aug. 2. Warrants have been filed against Jalen Burroughs, 19, for felony and aggravated robbery charges. If you have any information on his whereabouts, call call CrimeStoppers at 513-352-3040.
