Freedom clinch top wild card

The Florence Freedom will be the top wild card for the Frontier League playoffs starting this week.

Florence won the regular season finale at Evansville Sunday to capture the three seed. They will play Gateway in a five game series starting Wednesday. The first two are on the road before returning home next weekend.

This will be the Freedom's first ever trip to the Frontier League playoffs.
