Crews have recovered the body of a fisherman who went missing on an East Texas lake Tuesday.
Crews searched Pleasure Acres Lake near Chapel Hill Tuesday evening and again Wednesday morning when they found the body, around 9:30 a.m.
According to authorities, the missing fisherman, 29-year-old, Justin Thore, was a homeless man who a couple had taken in and taught to fish. Tuesday was only his second time out on the water alone.
Smith County Sheriff's officials say the couple called them around 7:30 p.m., saying he had gone fishing several hours earlier and had not been seen since.
