Hamilton firefighters and paramedics responded to a boating accident on Saturday.
Authorities say a drag racing boat traveling at more than 170 miles per hour lost control and crashed into the bank of the river at the Great Miami River Days Festival.
Firefighters extricated the trapped racer from his boat before he was taken to Miami Valley Hospital by helicopter.
Festival organizers say the driver suffered a broken leg, a concussions and some other bumps and bruises but he's going to be fine.
