Fire crews responded to a house fire on Southridge Road in Hampden.
The home's garage is blackened by smoke damage and the front panels of the home were ripped away because of the flames. There are also a few broken windows left in the fire's wake.
Police told CBS 3 the call came in around 4:10 p.m. as a reported lawn mower fire.
When firefighters arrive to the scene they found the garage engulfed in flames. The flames then quickly spread through the home.
Fire departments from four different towns showed up to put out the blaze
No injuries have been reported, but one firefighter did suffer from heat exhaustion.
