CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
A juvenile has been arrested for an armed robbery that occurred at UC on Wednesday night.
The incident happened just after 11:30 p.m. at Eden and Sabin Way, near the Medical Sciences Building.
Police say the female victim was confronted by a suspect armed with a handgun who took her personal property.
Police arrested a juvenile who confessed to the robbery. He is also being investigated by UC Police and Cincinnati Police in regard to several other offenses. He was seen in the company of three other black male suspects.
A similar robbery took place around the same time in the 200 block of Warner Street. Police say in this case, two suspects robbed two victims at gunpoint, then fled the scene in a black Dodge Neon.
Police say four other males were across the street in a maroon Toyota acting as lookouts. while fleeing the scene, one of the occupants of the Toyota fired a shot that struck the windshield of a witness.
The victims described the group of suspects as similar to the suspects in the Eden Avenue incident.
