The third time was the charm for Meredith Bateman. After two attempts she accomplished a long time goal of giving an answer in the form of a question.
Bateman will appear on the Oct. 26 episode of Jeopardy!
Bateman says that she was really nervous about completely bombing on the show. It all started with online test that took about 15 minutes. The list of contestants is whittled down from 100,000 to 400 after the original online test.
Through the experience she found that speed is what wins, quick answer and quick reflexes.
According to Bateman the efficiency of the show is amazing. Five shows in a day are produced and she finds it amazing to have that many shows shot in a day and not have any major glitches.
Bateman says the show host, Alex Trebek, is everything you would expect of him. He's good at ad-libbing things and very prepared.
Jeopardy is shown twice on weeknights right here on FOX19 with second run shows at 6 p.m. and new episodes at 7:30 p.m. Tune in to find out how Bateman did!
