Man held on $1,000,000 bond for early Monday murder

BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) -

Carl Stevelt is being held on a $1,000,000 bond for the early Monday morning murder of Steven Durden.

Around 2:45 a.m. Monday morning Cincinnati Police responded to a report of a shooting at 3111 Price Avenue. Responding officers discovered Durden, 23, had been shot. Durden was transported to University Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

After investigation the homicide unit, along with the department of fugitive apprehension arrested and charged Stevelt, 20, of Bond Hill with the murder. The case will go to the Grand Jury.
