The driver who fell asleep at the wheel and hit and killed a teenager was in court Thursday,
Adam Horvath pled no contest to a vehicular manslaughter charge and was found guilty by the judge. He will be sentenced on Dec. 9.
Horvath hit Collin Barton as Barton was walking along Wooster Pike in March on his way home from a party. Barton's body was found two days later in a wooded area.
The vehicular manslaughter charge is a misdemeanor that carries a jail term of up to 90 days and a $750 fine, as well as a class 6 driver license suspension, which can extend from three months to two years.
