Trio arrested for Ind. burglaries

Three people are facing charges for a series of burglaries in Franklin County, Indiana.

Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of Drewersburg Road and Carolina Trace in Whitewater  Township on Saturday on a report of a suspicious vehicle that matched the description of a vehicle suspected of being involved in several area burglaries.

Upon arrival in the area, deputies located three individuals who were also suspected in committing several area burglaries.  Through the investigation, it was discovered that the three individuals were preparing to burglarize a house near the intersection of Drewersburg Road and Carolina Trace. 

The three suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Franklin County Security Center.  Angella Dusa, 45, of Cincinnati, is charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of stolen property and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Derek Nuckols, 24, of Cincinnati, is charged with conspiracy to commit burglary. Matthew Carter, 27, of Cincinnati is charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and is also wanted on an outstanding warrant in Franklin County for burglary

Carter and Nuckols remain in the Franklin County Security Center in lieu of $25,000 bond.  Dusa was released after posting bond, and is awaiting her court appearance.
