(FOX19) -
Temperatures will continue to fall throughout the evening and into early Tuesday morning.

A cold front pushing east of the region put temperatures into the mid and upper 20s by Tuesday morning, which can be tracked on our Interactive Radar Map.

As of 4:45 p.m., temps were at 36° with a little rain and snow mix, and perhaps a bit of sleet in some areas.

FOX19 Meteorologist Jeff Creighton says the good news is the weather will improve throughout the week.

By tomorrow afternoon, sunshine should dominate the sky, with a rather chilly high in the upper 30s to 40°.

Sunshine will stick around for the week with a bit of a warming trend into the low 50s by Friday, but rain returns for the weekend.
