BOONE COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -
Northern Kentucky could be getting a new food processing facility, which would bring 115 jobs to the area.
Newly Weds Foods, Inc., a family-owned business that produces bread crumbs, cracker crumbs, dry batter mixes and spice blends, proposed a project on Thursday to add a location in Boone County.
The company hopes to purchase an existing building and make the needed renovations.
New Weds Foods would hire 115 employees upon opening, starting at $10.88 per hour.
Company officials say the business began in 1932, and now has manufacturing and service facilities in more than 68 countries.
No word yet on when the proposal will be approved.
