NEW RICHMOND, OH (FOX19) -
A 19-year-old who led police on a 120 mile per hour chase earlier this week has been arrested again.
The New Richmond Life Squad called police on a report that a patient had become violent. Police Chief Randy Harvey responded to assist the squad and found the patient had been able to escape his restraints and exited the back doors of the ambulance.
The patient told Harvey, "Give me your gun" and tried to take the weapon from the holster. A struggle ensued, and EMT's arrived to help subdue the subject.
The patient was identified as Isaac Stroud, 19. He was out of jail on a $10,000 bond stemming from a high speed chase in Clermont and Hamilton counties that occurred on Dec. 17.
New charges were filed against Stroud, including assault on an Emergency Medical Technician, assault on a police officer and vandalism. He is now being held in the Clermont County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
