COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) -
The Kenton County Fiscal Court has taken another step toward the county-wide consolidated dispatch services in the county.
The fiscal court voted unanimously to accept the bid submitted by DAG Construction for the construction of a 2700 square foot expansion of the existing communication center near KY 17 and Nicholson Road.
"We look forward to continue our working relationships with each city in order to enhance the level of services we all receive today at a much more affordable cost to each of us," said Steve Arlinghaus, judge-executive of Kenton County.
The winning big was the lowest amongst a group of competitive bids and contained a 100 day construction schedule.
