SOUTH FAIRMOUNT, OH (FOX19) -
A man who is accused of shooting and killing a woman in South Fairmount was in court on Thursday.
Julian James, 29, is charged with murder for the death of Janice Dawson.
James appeared in court on Thursday morning and had his bond set at $1,015,000.
Police received a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of Meader Street around 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday. Upon arrival, officers found Janice Dawson, 36, shot near the corner of Hiawatha and Meader St.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
