The NKU men's and women's basketball teams beat Kennesaw State Saturday at Bank of Kentucky Center.
Despite playing its first season in Division I, the NKU men improved to 4-5 in the Atlantic Sun and are two games behind first place in the conference standings.
Eshaunte Jones led the Norse in scoring with 25 points.
The NKU women improved to 4-4 in conference. Kayla Thacker led NKU with 16 points in the 65-49 win.
