Cincinnati, OH (FOX19) - Chris Heisey will not be the first Red to go to arbitration in nearly ten years. Heisey signed a one year deal with the team on Thursday. Heisey hit .265 with 7 home runs and 31 RBI in 2012.
Pitcher Alfredo Simon also agreed to a one year deal.
The Reds have four remaining players who are eligible for arbitration - Mat Latos, Homer Bailey, Shin Soo Choo and Mike Leake.
