Mason Police Department, along with the Warren County Sheriff's Office and
Wilmington Police Department, are investigating a series of thefts of purse from
Credit cards taken during the thefts are later used at
stores to buy gas and iPads.
On Jan. 18, the suspect walked into the back office area of Springdale Mason
Pediatrics. When confronted by an employee, he stated he was with his mother
and was looking for a Band-Aid for a hangnail. A short time later the victim's
purse was discovered missing.
cards from the purse were later used to make purchases at Kroger's and Wal-Mart
in Deerfield Township and Meijer's in Fairfield Township.
Jan. 26, the Wilmington Police Dept. was advised of the theft of a
purse from Clinton Memorial Hospital. The purse was stolen from a nurse working
on the 4th floor. Credit cards were used shortly after the theft in Wilmington
and photos of the suspect and vehicle are attached.

suspect was in the company of at least two white females. One of the females is
the driver of the vehicle.
