CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
While we're still inching our way into spring, it's never too early to start planning for the summer!
The hottest new music offering, Bunbury Music Festival, will be taking over the banks of the Ohio River July 12-14, 2013. The Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network (RTN) is offering an exclusive Bunbury BOGO package that will include a buy-one-get-one free, three-day ticket to the indie rock festival and a choice of hotel accommodations in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
This offer is only available through Cincinnati USA.
The Bunbury Music Festival Package is a new offering for the RTN which is in charge of driving leisure visitors to the Tri-state.
"In rolling out this exclusive package with Bunbury in February, we were thrilled to see one of the quickest responses to a music package of this type," said RTN president and CEO, Linda Antus. "In creating this BOGO package with Bunbury, we will attract a visitor apart from the traditional family attractions. We can see from the huge response that we are reaching a younger, more diverse crowd as well as the family.
Bunbury organizer, Bill Donabedian, says
of this year's event, "We are excited to have Fun., MGMT and The
National headlining this year's festival. Throw in bands like Walk the
Moon, Cake and Belle & Sebastian and Bunbury's line-up is hard to
beat."
Bunbury Music Festival was one of 2012's Essential
Summer Festivals on Yahoo! Music and is now entering its second year with much
anticipation from the indie music scene. The festival will feature 80 live
performances on six stages at Cincinnati's Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove, overlooking
the Ohio River and just below the beautiful skyline of Cincinnati.
