LEBANON, OH (FOX19) -
A Lebanon business owner was convicted of selling drugs from his Marathon gas station.
Hamza Shalash was found guilty on Wednesday for selling bath salts and various types of synthetic marijuana known as 'Spice' from his gas station, located on North Broadway in Lebanon.
Lebanon Police, Ohio Department
of Public Safety and Warren County Drug Task Force agents conducted an
extensive investigation from fall of 2011 into early 2012. Authorities say multiple people and undercover agents were able to buy drugs from Shalash's Marathon station.
On Wednesday, Shalash was found guilty of nine counts of drug trafficking and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activities.
He will be sentenced in approximately six weeks, facing more than 40 years in prison if sentenced consecutively on each
of the counts for which he was found guilty.
The Twin Rectangular Jet model, installed on the Nozzle Acoustic Test Rig in the Aeroacoustic Propulsion Laboratory at NASA's Glenn Research Center, is being tested to determine the acoustic impact of engine configurations on low sonic boom aircraft for the High Speed Project of the Fundamental Aeronautics Program. The High Speed Project is a multi-center effort to develop and test the technologies of a new generation of aircraft that can fly at supersonic speeds.Full Story >
