The Bengals will remember the 1981 AFC Championship Game known as the Freezer Bowl at before Sunday's AFC Wild Card game at Paul Brown Stadium against the Chargers.

Running back James Brooks, who played for the Chargers in the game, but later played for the Bengals, is also expected to be there.

The Bengals said the team will host the players and their guests in a suite.

The Bengals defeated San Diego 27-7 in that Jan. 10, 1982 game at Riverfront Stadium to advance to Super Bowl XVI. The wind chill reached -59° during the game and the temperature never rose above zero, says FOX19 Chief Meteorologist Steve Horstmeyer who covered the game.

The Chargers are returning to Cincinnati on Sunday for what is expected to be another wintry playoff game. A front with a fairly strong low will arrive for Sunday morning bringing snow, says FOX19 Meteorologist Frank Marzullo. The snow could be heavy at times Sunday and continue into game time at Paul Brown Stadium.
