Thanks to generous donations from the community, FOX19 exceeded it's goal to collect over 70,000 pounds worth of food during the 'Food From the Heart' campaign.

70,734.5 pounds of food items were collected at Kroger stores across the Tri-State to benefit St. Vincent de Paul.

Nearly 100,000 children are living below the poverty level, and 'Food From the Heart' will provide more than 56,000 meals to those in need.

It's the 23rd year of 'Food From the Heart' and over 1 million pounds of food, or more than 400,000 meals, have been collected and distributed to local families in need.

FOX19 thanks the viewers, those who donated and Kroger for helping with another successful campaign.
