Pharrell's hat wins the Grammys

Daft Punk and collaborator Pharrell Williams won four awards at the Grammy's last night, including album for "Random Access Memories" and record of the year for "Get Lucky."  But really, everyone just loved Pharrell's hat.

The Grammys social media team is just one woman

Did you know The Grammys social media team is ONE WOMAN? According to Mashable, her name is Lindsay Gabler and she is an all-star. As the senior marketing manager of social media for the Recording Academy, Gabler is the senior marketing manager of social media for the Recording Academy. She handles GRAMMY Live, which is the show's second-screen experience featuring backstage action and commentary. She's also working 365 days a year, not just on Grammy night.

Ex-Marlboro man dies from smoking-related disease

Eric Lawson, who portrayed the rugged Marlboro man in cigarette ads during the late 1970s, has died. He was 72. Lawson died Jan. 10 at his home in San Luis Obispo of respiratory failure due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD, his wife said Sunday. A smoker since age 14, Lawson later appeared in an anti-smoking commercial that parodied the Marlboro man and an "Entertainment Tonight" segment to discuss the negative effects of smoking.

The University of Cincinnati track & field programs closed on the Rod McCravy Invitational with nine personal records on the second and final day of competition. It was tagged the National Meet of the Week by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
