SEDAMSVILLE, OH (FOX19) -

Two fuel spills have slowed traffic on US-50 at River Rd. this morning.

There was an accident on US-50 between River Rd. and Delhi Ave. The road has reopened.

The road was closed in both directions due to an overturned semi-truck that reportedly flipped, spilling almost 1,000 gallons of fuel.

Police say a car lost control near Fairbanks Ave, hitting the semi-truck at about 11:00 p.m. last night.

The driver of the car was transported to the hospital. Police say the injuries are not serious. Emergency crews are on the scene.

There was a second accident on US-50 River Rd. at Ivanhoe Avenue in Sayler Park.

Police say there is a small fuel leak. One person is suffering minor injuries.

FOX19 will continue to update the story as more information becomes available.
