CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Ohio state Rep. Peter Beck, R-Mason, has been indicted on 53 additional counts, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters announced today.

The speaker of the Ohio House says Beck has agreed to give up his powerful committee chairmanship after the indictment.

Speaker William Batchelder, a Republican from Medina, says Beck will relinquish chairmanship of the House Ways and Means Committee. 

The new charges against Beck include one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, 10 counts of perjury and two counts of money laundering.

Beck was previously indicted in July on 16 felony counts.

Several co-conspirators were indicted with Beck in connection with their activities involving Ohio software company Christopher Technologies LLC or CTech. 

TML Consulting LLC of Cincinnati was indicted on eight counts including one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and one count of telecommunications fraud.

Janet Combs, of Cincinnati, was indicted on nine counts. Those include one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, four counts of receiving stolen property and four counts of money laundering.

Ark by the River Fellowship Ministries Inc. of Cincinnati was indicted on nine counts. Those include one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, four counts of receiving stolen property and four counts of money laundering.
