The Blue Ash Police Department served several search warrants today at approximately 7:30 a.m. in Blue Ash, Montgomery, and Symmes Township as part of what officials say is an ongoing investigation.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Bomb Unit and the Hamilton County Police Association SWAT team assisted with the search warrants, providing "extra resources and manpower," according to Blue Ash Police.

The warrants were reportedly in response to small explosions known as "bomb bags" that rocked several houses on March 8. Police believe a bag bomb was set off that day on Classic Drive in Blue Ash by multiple teenagers.

No one has been arrested and authorities have released no additional information.

Blue Ash Police Department said the Bomb and SWAT Units were called out of concern for the safety of the community and to take extra precautions.
