GEAUGA COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

Sheriff deputies say four suspects are now in custody, accused of assaulting two young Amish men.

19 year old, Chase Kontur, 18 year old, Christopher Barnett and Gerald Wise have all been charged with felonious assault.

The attack happened last week.

Geauga County Sheriff Deputies say the suspects got out of their car wearing masks and beat the Amish with baseball bats.

"The suspects were under the impression the Amish would not report the crimes.  I don't know where that comes from, obviously we take reports every day from the Amish." says Sheriff Dan McClelland.

Three male adults and one male juvenile are now behind bars.

More information will be released at a news conference Monday afternoon.
