CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -
The driver who led officers
on a pursuit that ended in a deadly crash has been charged.
Paul Chisenhall, 36, of
Goshen, was released from University Hospital on Wednesday and transported to
Clermont County Jail where he is charged with two counts of aggravated vehicular
Chisenhall was air cared to
the hospital on Sunday after he crashed his Saturn L300 on State Route 727.
Jason Wright, 31, was ejected from the car and died at the scene. Charles
McMullen, 34, was also killed in the crash.
An ODNR officer reportedly witnessed
Chisenhall and his four passengers drinking at Stonelick State Park and
entering the car with open containers of alcohol. Police say when officials attempted to
stop the car, Chisenhall fled and crashed.
Christina Singleton, 31, was in the front passenger seat and was air cared to University Hospital. Her condition was not immediately
According to court documents, Chisenhall has been convicted for driving under the influence of
alcohol/drugs in the past. He was found guilty of driving under the influence
in 2002 and 2005. He was also charged with driving under OVI suspension in
2012 but was convicted of a lesser offense.
