WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MOST OF THE FOX19 VIEWING AREA
9PM FRIDAY UNTIL 7 PM SATUDAY
Good morning, happy Friday! We've made it to another Friday and just in time for the weekend... more SNOW! Look for increasing clouds today with temperatures about ten degrees warmer than yesterday. Our high today will top off in the mid to upper 30s. Clouds will thicken early this evening, ahead of our next winter weather maker. Snow showers will develop after 10pm this evening, remaining scattered across the tristate overnight. With overnight temperatures hovering in the low 30s, we do anticipate some accumulation on roadways and grassy surfaces. By Saturday morning, 1-3" of snow will be possible. (Places north of Cincinnati have the best chance of seeing 2-3" of snow, while the city and south of the river can see up to 1" of snowfall).
On Saturday, warm air will rush into the storm system, changing our snow showers to a wintry mix of rain/snow. Little additional accumulation is expected through Saturday afternoon. Highs on Saturday will reach the mid 30s. Colder air arrives for Sunday, with highs back in the mid 20s.
